The Cherokee Strip Community Foundation (CSCF) is seeking a mission-driven Program Officer to lead and manage our grants and scholarship programs. This is a unique opportunity to help strengthen communities across Northwest Oklahoma through strategic, relationship-based philanthropy.

With a growing team and impact footprint, we are excited to welcome a third full-time staff member to help us deepen our work in grantmaking and community engagement.

 

What You’ll Do

The Program Officer plays a key role in shaping and implementing our grant and scholarship strategy. You'll:

• Lead the administration of competitive grant and scholarship programs

• Facilitate grant committees and support volunteer decision-makers

• Monitor outcomes and support grantees

• Maintain strong relationships with nonprofits, schools, and donors

• Research community needs and support philanthropic initiatives beyond grantmaking

• Help tell our story through data, reports, and community impact

 

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for a values-aligned professional who is passionate about Northwest Oklahoma and ready to make a difference. Ideal candidates will bring:

• A bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years of experience in the nonprofit or public sector

• Strong project management and communication skills

• Comfort working with diverse stakeholders—from grantees to donors

• Knowledge of the region and its nonprofit landscape (preferred)

• A collaborative, self-motivated spirit

 

Work Hours & Compensation

• Full-time, in-person in Enid, OK (some travel in Northwest Oklahoma required)

• Workweek: Mon–Thu 9 AM–5 PM; Fri 9 AM–Noon

• Salary: $48,000–$54,000 depending on experience, with opportunity for performance-based increases
