Financial Assistance for Tornado Survivors
The Enid Strong Tornado Relief Grant Program provides financial assistance to individuals and families whose residences were affected by the recent tornadoes in the Enid area.
The application will ask for basic information about your household, the residence affected by the tornado, the damage sustained, other assistance received, and how the requested funds would be used.
SUPPORTING DOCUMENTATION
Depending on the type of assistance requested, applicants may need to provide:

Insurance-related requests
A description of the insurance deductible or coverage gap, along with a denial letter, declaration page, or other supporting documentation. -
Temporary housing requests
A description of the temporary housing arrangement and cost, along with a lease agreement or other proof of residency and expense. -
Household replacement requests
A list of household items being replaced, estimated replacement values, and receipts for items already purchased. -
Applicants may also upload photos of tornado damage. Photos are optional but may be helpful during the review process.
Submitting an application does not guarantee funding. Applicants may be contacted for additional information or documentation.

At this time, financial gifts are the most effective way to support coordinated relief and long-term recovery efforts. Donations may support emergency assistance, essential services, recovery programs, and unmet needs that may not be addressed through insurance, government programs, or other sources.
All donations are tax-deductible, and donors will receive a receipt for their gifts.

Recovery takes time, and community needs will continue to change.
Cherokee Strip Community Foundation will share updates about the Enid Strong Disaster Relief Fund, the financial assistance program, and the ways funds are supporting recovery across Enid and Northwest Oklahoma.
Updates will be shared in aggregate to protect the privacy of tornado survivors.
